Santa Monica, Calif. — Veggie Grill, the go-to destination for plant-based, chef-inspired food, will launch its first-ever restaurant in New York City. Now operating 31 locations in California, Oregon, Washington and Illinois, Veggie Grill is slated to open its Flatiron District location in spring 2019.
As the first East Coast restaurant, Veggie Grill’s New York City opening is a milestone for the brand and part of the company’s greater growth plans. Over the past year, Veggie Grill launched its first location in the Midwest in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood followed by openings in Chicago’s The Loop and most recently in Berkeley, Calif.
“The expansion of Veggie Grill to the East Coast could not come at a better time,” says CEO Steve Heeley. “Plant-based food and clean eating continues to be a growing trend, especially in big cities, so New York City is a very exciting opening for us and we look forward to joining the community there.”
Veggie Grill, the leading plant-based restaurant group in the United States, has 31 locations in California, Oregon, Washington and Illinois, and plans to expand across the nation in 2019. For more information, visit www.veggiegrill.com.
