Chicago — Macy’s will close its longtime department store at Water Tower Place in Chicago, according to several media reports. The downtown mall is situated on the Magnificent Mile. Indianapolis — Simon Property Group, Inc. has completed its acquisition of an 80% ownership interest in The Taubman Realty Group Limited Partnership (TRG) for approximately $3.4 billion.
