Calabasas Hills, Calif. — The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, W. Douglas Benn, will retire from the company on July 7, 2017. He will be succeeded by Matthew Clark, who brings over 11 years of experience with the company, most recently serving as senior vice president, finance and strategy.
Boca Raton, Fla. — Orangetheory® Fitness, a fast-growing fitness franchise, will reopen its Shelton, Conn., studio by the end of May; the studio was just acquired by multi-unit franchisee Mark Molina. This acquisition is part of Orangetheory Fitness’s expansion plans throughout the state of Connecticut, with a goal of doubling its studio count in the state by the end of 2017.
Oakland, N.J. — Amerlux has promoted Tracie Jahn to director of specification sales. Jahn previously served as West Coast regional director for the company and will now report directly to Chuck Campagna, CEO/president, and Ted Des Enfants, vice president of sales.
St. Louis — Shell construction of the $54 million The Shoppes at Mid Rivers in St. Peters, Mo., is nearly complete, with concrete block and tilt-up walls in place despite weeks of rainy weather. Interior build-out is scheduled to begin in early June. Chesterfield, Mo.-based Knoebel Construction, Inc. is the general contractor on The Shoppes at Mid Rivers, the largest mall to be built in St. Charles County since 2008.
