Milford, Conn. — Suzanne Greco, chief executive officer of Subway®, plans to retire at the end of June. Subway® has appointed Trevor Haynes, chief business development officer, as interim CEO, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, effective May 2, 2018.

Columbus, Ohio — David Campisi plans to retire as the president, CEO and member of the board of directors of Big Lots, Inc. Campisi, who had been on a leave of absence for medical reasons since December 2017, has decided to retire in order to focus fully on his health.
Scottsdale, Ariz. — P.F. Chang’s, the full-service Asian restaurant industry leader, has opened its first restaurant in China at the No1 Mall on the iconic Nanjing Road in Shanghai. P.F. Chang’s currently owns and operates more than 300 restaurants in 23 countries and territories.
Holliston, Mass. — Pure Hockey, the largest hockey retailer in the U.S., has acquired both of Bauer Hockey’s “Own The Moment” retail stores. The new stores will operate as “Bauer Hockey Experience” locations. With the acquisition, Pure Hockey will now operate 53 retail locations across the United States, as well as three e-commerce sites.
Durham, N.C. — Rise Biscuits Donuts, a fast growing biscuits and donuts chain, has signed a five-unit franchise deal for the greater Kansas City area. The upcoming Kansas City locations — expected to be on both sides of the Missouri and Kansas state lines — will be the first to hit the Midwest.
Columbus, Ohio — FacilitySource, a national, tech-enabled facilities management company, has added Christine Kowalczyk as chief operating officer. Kowalczyk brings more than 20 years of global service operations and client management leadership to her new role at FacilitySource.
New York City — On April 12, 2018, Nordstrom, Inc. opened its very first flagship, full-line New York City location and first-ever standalone men’s store at 235 West 57th St. The three-level 47,000-square-foot store offers a differentiated merchandise assortment across all categories, including popular and designer brands, along with a range of convenient services to serve customers on their terms.
Canton, Mass. — Dunkin’ Donuts has signed a multi-unit store development agreement with existing franchisees Lagunita Franchise Operations, LLC (LFO). Over the next several years, the franchisee group is planning to open seven new restaurants throughout Montgomery, Ala. The first two locations are scheduled to open in 2019.
Brunswick, Me. — Eighty-four Sprouts Farmers Market grocery stores in Texas, Colorado, Utah and Arizona have been awarded Manomet’s Grocery Stewardship Certification (GSC). The GSC recognizes Sprouts’ commitment to operational best practices that reduce a store’s environmental impact and save resources. The certification is the latest sustainability milestone for Sprouts, one of the fastest-growing retailers in the country.
