San Francisco — The Gymboree Corporation has successfully completed its financial restructuring and emerged from Chapter 11 as a new corporation under the name Gymboree Group, Inc., which has eliminated more than $900 million of debt from its balance sheet and is right-sizing its store footprint.

(PAR), a leading global provider of point-of-sale (POS) and workforce efficiency solutions to the restaurant and retail industries, has been selected by California Tortilla to roll out PAR’s Cloud-Based Brink POS® Software and EverServ® 8000 terminals in all 51 locations. California Tortilla plans to open six more restaurants by the end of 2017.
New York City — Mamoun’s Falafel, the fastest growing Middle-Eastern fast-casual restaurant in North America and oldest falafel restaurant in New York City, plans to open its newest location in Dallas this fall. Burlington, Ontario — The highly anticipated IKEA Halifax store opened on September 27, 2017 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, near Halifax. The 330,000-square-foot store is the 13th IKEA store in Canada and the first in IKEA Canada’s coast-to-coast expansion; the retailer will open 11 additional stores by 2025, doubling its footprint in Canada.
