Chicago — On January 2, 2019, Cushman & Wakefield completed its acquisition of Quality Solutions, Inc. (QSI). This acquisition will expand Cushman & Wakefield’s facilities management capabilities and coverage across North American markets by leveraging QSI’s strong supply chain of 50,000+ qualified suppliers and 75+ facilities trades. Cushman & Wakefield’s intention to acquire QSI was previously announced in November 2018.

San Francisco — RB American Group LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Flynn Restaurant Group LP, has acquired 368 Arby’s® restaurants throughout the U.S. from United States Beef Corporation (US Beef). Flynn Restaurant Group’s portfolio includes Applebee’s®, Panera Bread® and Taco Bell®. RB American Group will be Flynn Restaurant Group’s fourth prominent restaurant brand.

Charlotte, N.C. — Bojangles’, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Durational Capital Management LP and The Jordan Company, L.P. in an all-cash transaction. Bojangles’ stockholders will receive $16.10 per share. Upon closing, Bojangles’ will continue to be operated as an independent, privately-held company and will remain based in Charlotte, N.C.

Los Angeles — FAT (Fresh. Authentic. Tasty.) Brands Inc. has successfully completed the previously announced acquisition of Hurricane Grill & Wings for $12.5 million, which was funded through a combination of $8 million in cash and $4.5 million in preferred stock. With the acquisition of Hurricane, FAT Brands now franchises more than 325 restaurants around the world with annual system-wide sales exceeding $350 million.
