The majority of the EMS installations were retrofits at existing stores where thermostats or third-party energy management systems were replaced, but Siemens also installed its Site Controls EMS in newly constructed stores.
Batavia, Ill. — ALDI, a low price grocery leader, has completed its purchase of 66 real estate assets from the Delhaize Group. The transaction includes the land, buildings and leasehold improvements associated with Delhaize’s recently retired Bottom Dollar Food operation.
