New York City — On February 5, 2019, Saks Fifth Avenue opened one of the largest luxury handbag destinations in New York City, furthering the $250 million ‘grand renovation’ of its Fifth Avenue flagship. The 53,000-square-foot main floor of the New York Flagship triples the handbag department selling space which includes more than 50 brands —14 of which are new to the store.

Conshohocken, Pa. — IKEA U.S. is opening its first city center store in the U.S., marking the company’s ongoing transformation and commitment to bringing IKEA into the heart of urban areas. The ‘IKEA Planning Studio’ is scheduled to open in Manhattan in spring 2019.
New York City — On April 12, 2018, Nordstrom, Inc. opened its very first flagship, full-line New York City location and first-ever standalone men’s store at 235 West 57th St. The three-level 47,000-square-foot store offers a differentiated merchandise assortment across all categories, including popular and designer brands, along with a range of convenient services to serve customers on their terms.
Franklin, Tenn. — On January 31, 2018, global burger chain Carl’s Jr. opened its first-ever Manhattan restaurant at 425 7th Ave., opposite Madison Square Garden. In addition to its full food menu, the two-story restaurant will serve a selection of local and national beer and wine.
Rosemead, Calif. — Panda Express, which first opened on the West Coast in 1983, will open its 2,000th location in New York City on December 7, 2017. For nearly 35 years, the family-owned restaurant has continued to expand its footprint around the world.
Franklin, Tenn. — In January 2018, Carl’s Jr. will open its first Manhattan location in Midtown, near Penn Station, at 425-427 Seventh Ave. The restaurant’s parent company, CKE Restaurants, signed a 15-year lease, according to Nation’s Restaurant News.
New York City — RKF, a leading independent real estate firm specializing in retail leasing, investment sales and consulting services, has arranged a 2,600-square-foot lease with Lush Cosmetics at Hotel Belleclaire, situated at 2175 Broadway on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
