This growth will bring five new restaurants to San Antonio; one to Jackson, Tenn.; and four to the Mobile, Ala./Pensacola, Fla., market over the next several years.

Toronto — Pizza Hut Canada, a division of YUM! Brands, Inc. and the world’s largest pizza franchise, has entered into a development arrangement with Franchise Management Inc. (FMI). Under this agreement, FMI will purchase 38 existing Pizza Hut restaurants in Quebec and the Greater Ottawa/Kingston region, as well as add new DelCo (delivery/carry out) model stores in Eastern Canada over the next 5 years.

Atlanta — Tropical Smoothie Cafe, the leading fast casual cafe concept known for its better-for-you food and smoothies with a tropical twist, has signed a franchise agreement to open four restaurants in Idaho, with the first cafe slated to open in Boise this June. Columbia, Md. — The Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille has opened its first location in New Jersey, an 8,181-square-foot franchise restaurant with a 1,456-square-foot patio, in North Brunswick. The new restaurant is the first to open under a multi-unit development agreement for South and Central New Jersey signed by Imperial Restaurant Group LLC.

Atlanta — Church’s Chicken® has signed a new franchising deal with Florida Chicken LLC, which has secured the rights to open 10 new restaurants in Florida. New markets slated for development include multiple restaurants in Tampa, St. Petersburg and Orlando, with another 10-restaurant deal expected to follow in 2021.
