NCR’s headquarters is one of the first projects to be awarded two of the highest LEED certification levels for the same building. NCR provides business/point-of-sale transaction solutions for industries including banks, restaurants, grocery stores, theaters and more.

Orangeburg, N.Y. — Daikin America has partnered with TOPS Friendly Markets LLC to complete the first refrigeration conversion of a U.S. supermarket from R-22 to Creard R-407H. At the TOPS store in Alden, N.Y., 1,200 lbs. of Creard R-407H has been used to provide more than 25 cooling tons in medium-temperature refrigerated cases and displays. It has replaced R-22.

New York City — Safari Energy, a leading commercial and industrial solar developer, has inaugurated its solar rooftop system at Francis Scott Key Mall in Frederick, Md. The 2,056 kilowatt capacity project, which is now operational, is currently providing clean energy to power the Class A shopping destination, owned by PREIT, a leading real estate investment trust.
