Cedar Park, Texas — Scheels, an employee-owned sporting goods retailer based in Fargo, N.D., plans to open a 240,000-square-foot store in Cedar Park, Texas, a northern suburb of Austin. Lancaster, Texas — Walmart has opened a new 1.5 million-square-foot fulfillment center 15 miles south of Dallas, located at 2500 Belt Line Rd. in Lancaster. Rite Aid Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, Receives $3.4 Billion for Debt Restructuring

Philadelphia — Rite Aid Corp. has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and has received financial commitments totaling roughly $3.4 billion from lenders to support business operations as the company works to restructure its debt.
