Houston — Women’s apparel and fashion accessories retailer Charming Charlie continues its coast-to-coast expansion with new stores. The retailer will open approximately 14 new locations in the coming months, with a focus on Texas, California, New York and the Midwest. This comes after the Houston-based retailer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in summer 2019 — the second time it had filed for bankruptcy in less than 2 years. During the Chapter 11 process, which was filed on December 11, 2017, the Houston-based fashion retailer plans to restructure its debt while maintaining and operating a majority of its stores, as well as its online platform.
