Los Angeles — Kitchen United, a Los Angeles-based virtual restaurant provider, is opening its next kitchen center in Chicago’s River North neighborhood — its first location outside of California. Kitchen United will work with restaurant partners to begin move-in in mid-December, and will start serving Chicago consumers in January.

Miami — Locali, a popular Los Angeles-based healthy convenience concept, has recently signed a multi-unit franchise agreement with Viable Foods, LLC to expand the rapidly-growing brand into the greater South Beach/Miami area. This deal marks the first expansion outside California for Locali, which plans to introduce its innovative ‘healthy convenience’ model to markets nationwide.

Manchester, Conn. — Bob’s Discount Furniture plans to open six new stores in the Los Angeles market, simultaneously, on February 15, 2018. New locations will open in Baldwin Park, Huntington Beach, L.A.-Midtown, Long Beach, West Hills and Valencia. These six stores will be Bob’s first on the West Coast.

Los Angeles — Taubman Centers, Inc. has named four new restaurants that will join Beverly Center’s culinary lineup as part of the shopping and dining destination’s $500 million reimagination. The restaurants — Cal Mare, Eggslut, FARMHOUSE and Yardbird — will be located on Level 1 and all are anticipated to open by the end of 2018.
