The promotions include Brian Gilbert to vice president, retail business development; Frank Barone to vice president, financial management & business analytics; and Mathias Piercy, to regional vice president, south central.

Greensboro, N.C. — Kathie S. Niven has been named president of Greensboro, N.C.-based Biscuitville FRESH SOUTHERN®. She joined Biscuitville in 2011 and most recently served as the company’s chief brand officer. In conjunction with the promotion of Niven, Kristie Mitchell has been promoted to vice president of brand and marketing.

New York City — The bebe® brand has opened its first lifestyle retail store in New York City, nearly a year after announcing it would close all brick-and-mortar stores. Located in the heart of Manhattan at 1 West 34th St., between 5th and 6th Avenues, the store sits adjacent to the Empire State Building. The new store also features bold bebe signage made of 38,000 Swarovski crystals.
