Pompano Beach, Fla. — JAE Restaurant Group, one of the largest multi-unit franchisees of Wendy’s, has acquired 34 Wendy’s restaurants throughout Knoxville, Tenn., making JAE Restaurant Group a major employer in Knoxville with a total of 1,150 employees.
New York City and Calgary, Alberta — Saks Fifth Avenue has opened its newest store and third Canadian location, Saks Calgary. The 115,000-square-foot, two-level retail destination is located at the CF Chinook Centre, Calgary. An in-store dining experience and salon are slated to open soon in 2018.

Warren, Mich. — Kim Yost, president and CEO of Art Van Furniture, plans to retire after 9 years with the company. In order to ensure a seamless leadership transition, Yost will maintain his current role until a successor has been appointed.
