Seattle — After three decades marked by expansion and success, Karen McKibbin, president of Nordstrom Rack, will be retiring from Nordstrom in March 2018. Karen joined Nordstrom in 1985 and has held many leadership roles within the company, including president of Nordstrom Canada, where she led the first-ever international expansion of Nordstrom’s full-line stores.
Woburn, Mass. — U.S. Pavement Services Inc., a full-service paving and pavement maintenance contractor headquartered in Woburn, Mass., will open a new office in Sarasota, Fla., in February. The new location will house the company’s national project management team, adding to its existing office presence in Denver and Vermont.
Irvine, Calif. — Taco Bell Corp. has elevated its executive team roles and expanded its leadership capabilities with the addition of three new positions as the brand continues its journey to become a $15 billion company with 9,000 restaurants globally by 2022.
Boca Raton, Fla. — Office Depot, Inc. has appointed Joseph T. Lower as executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective January 8, 2018. He succeeds Stephen E. Hare, who is retiring after 4 years in the role. Hare will assist in the transition of duties.
Oceanside, Calif. — Kellermeyer Bergensons Services, LLC (KBS), the largest provider of technology-enabled, integrated interior and exterior property services to multi-site and multi-region customers in North America, has completed the acquisition of Empire Services (Empire), an independently owned commercial facility maintenance company headquartered in New Orleans. The transaction closed on December 29, 2017.
